The project is located in the port area of Haiyan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, the construction site was leveled, and the construction of pipe piles was carried out by hammer piling, with a total 1,032 piles completed. Construction began on March 18, 2021 and completed on May 3, 2021, taking 47 days.
The stratum of this project is mainly powder soil, silty clay and powder clay, and the burial depth of groundwater level is 0.4~0.8m. During the construction period, there is more rain and the site is muddy, so the construction site is treated by laying steel plates in the construction area to ensure the pile driver is stable and the pile body is vertical. According to the third-party inspection, 247 piles were tested for low strain, 42 piles were tested for high strain, 15 piles were tested for static load test and 3 piles were tested for uplift static load test, all of which met the design requirements.
During the construction process, strict management, solid work, quality assurance, implementation of safety rules and regulations and strengthening of safety precautions had been carried out. The construction quality met the requirements of design documents and relevant standards and specifications, with a qualified rate of 100%, which had been unanimously recognized by the owner and the supervision organization.
