The main work content of this phase I piling project includes test pile construction of LNG storage tank, bored pile construction of one 20,000m³ pre-stressed concrete all-inclusive storage tank, and CFG pile construction of two 3,500m³ fire fighting water tanks.
The test pile of this project was started on October 10, 2021 and completed on October 13, 2021, the CFG pile of fire fighting water tank was started on November 12, 2021 and completed on November 15, 2021, and the pile of LNG storage tank project was started on December 19, 2021 and completed on January 11, 2022, which fully meets the contract requirements.
The CFG pile diameter of this project is 500mm, the concrete strength is C25, the pile length is 11.2m, and the number of piles is 254. The piles are cast in one piece using the pile-column construction process, the column on the ground and the underground pile foundation are cast continuously, the diameter is 1.0m, the length of the pile into the soil is 26.5m, the concrete strength is C40, the frost resistance grade of the short column is F200, the number of piles is 120. After entrusting third-party testing, the test results are qualified, all of them are Class I piles, and the single pile vertical compressive static load test and single pile horizontal static load test meet the design and specification requirements. No safety and quality accidents occurred during the whole construction process, the project quality is excellent, HSE management is controlled, the construction schedule meets the requirements, and all the indexes meet the contract requirements.
During the construction process, facing the unfavorable situation such as tight schedule, low temperature and epidemic prevention and control, all employees of the project department organized closely, concentrated their efforts, overcame difficulties, managed scientifically, constructed carefully, and took various measures to ensure the stable and orderly progress and early completion of the project, which was recognized and praised by the owner, general contractor, designers and supervisors, and laid a solid foundation for the subsequent construction tasks.
