The project is located in Fuyang City, Anhui Province, invested by Anhui Haoyuan Chemical Group Co., Ltd., and our company was responsible for the pile foundation construction of the project. The construction site is a floodplain of Ying River, dominated by powdery clay and silt, and the groundwater level is around 26 m. The pile type is rotary bored pile, and the designed pile length of gasifier foundation is 33 m, pile diameter is 800 mm, and the number of piles is 290. The main frame pile of urea production unit is 35 m long, with a diameter of 800mm, totaling 104 piles. The designed pile length of pelletizing tower is 35 m and 18 m with a diameter of 800 mm, including 109 piles of 35 m and 6 piles of 18 m.
The project started on February 17, 2022 and the full contract was completed by May 10, 2022. The pile top elevation of the engineering piles and the gasifier foundation piles of this project are all -5.3 m, and the pile top elevation of the urea production unit is -3.0 m and -4.0 m, and the pile top concrete overfill and pile head quality control are one of the focuses of this project during construction. In order to ensure the quality of overfilling of pile top and pile head during the construction of piles, the project department made a slag catcher on site to strictly control the overfilling height. After excavation inspection, there is no quality problem of pile head on site.
During the construction process, we took three levels of acceptance from operation team, project department and supervisor-owner, and checked the quality of hole formation, welding quality of reinforcement cage, and the stability of commercial concrete for each pile, so as to control the process quality at all levels. Finally, the third-party testing unit tested the test piles and engineering piles through four methods, such as static load method, high strain, low strain (100%), and sound pipe testing (10%), and the passing rate of testing results was 100%.
