This project is located in Caofeidian Industrial Zone, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, invested by Caofeidian Xintian LNG Co., Ltd., our company has undertaken the construction of pile foundation for two 200,000 m³ LNG storage tanks, 9# and 15# tanks, with a total of more than 700 piles, with a pile diameter of 1.4m and a pile depth of about 70 m into the soil.
The project was started on May 31, 2022 and completed on July 21, 2022, with an actual construction period of 52 calendar days. After the construction of the bored piles was completed, the pile testing was carried out by a third-party testing company. 4 piles were tested with static load test for a single storage tank in this project, and 8 piles were tested with static load test in total, and the test results showed that the compressive ultimate bearing capacity of each static load test pile met the design requirements. The pile integrity was tested by acoustic testing and low strain testing. There were 37 acoustic tests, the proportion of which was 10%, and the acoustic transmission test results showed that all the piles were Class I piles. The proportion of low strain testing was 100%, and the integrity of the pile foundation met the design and specification requirements.
The project department resolutely carries out the policy of safety first and prevention first in the construction process, and takes measures to strengthen safety management according to the characteristics of this project, no safety accident occurs during the implementation of the project, and the quality target is successfully completed with 100% passing rate of the unit project, which is praised by the general contractor, supervisor and owner.
