The pile foundation construction for Risun Group's 4.8 million tons per year coking project is located in Central Sulawesi province of Indonesia, which is invested by PT. Risun Wei Shan Indonesia. In total, the project has completed 1,709 piles with a diameter of 800mm and 7,204 piles with a diameter of 500mm. The length of the bored piles is 10m~40m, and the length of the PHC piles is 5m~42m. The strata within the piles are mainly made up of soil fill, powdery clay, mud conglomerate, and so on.
The pile foundation construction for Risun Group's 4.8 million tons per year coking project commenced on 23 December 2021 and was completed on 15 March 2023.
During the construction of the bored piles, it had to pass through the deepest backfill layer of about 30 meters, and the hole collapse phenomenon was very easy to occur during the drilling in this stratum. When the bored piles with mud protection could not be drilled, the extended casing was used to pass through the backfill layer, which solved the problem of collapsed holes. After the third-party testing, the passing rate was 100%, successfully accomplishing the quality target.
The project department in the construction process resolutely implemented the safety first, prevention-oriented policy, for the characteristics of the project to take measures to strengthen the safety management, without any safety accidents during the construction period, environmental protection and civilization of the construction work has been praised by the supervisor and the owner.
