The competition is divided into two parts: operational skills (basic cutting skills, cooking of designated and self-selected dishes) and theoretical examination, which comprehensively tests the professional skills of the cooks.
In the operation skills, the cooks showed off their mastery. Fresh ingredients seemed to be given life in their hands and turned into neat and tidy shapes after skillful cutting. The meat was tender and juicy while cooking, and the side dishes were colorful and mouth-watering. The self-selected dishes even showed the creativity and wisdom of the cooks. The judges carefully scored the dishes in terms of color, flavor, shape, nutrition and other dimensions. They were rigorous and meticulous, not sparing any detail to ensure the fairness and impartiality of the competition.
