The Shangzhuang Town Infrastructure Construction Project is located in Luquan District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, with the Luquan District Transportation Bureau as the owner. The project scope includes:
1. Upgrading pedestrian walkways along both sides of Zhongshan Road (approx. 1.7 km in length);
2. Landscaping works for the Xiyin Garden (1,750 m²);
3. Road reconstruction and widening of Xinxing Road and Xinghua Street (approx. 1,610 m in total length);
4. Road renovation in Taitou Village (790 m), along with the installation of new sewer pipelines (768 m) and stormwater pipelines (380 m).
The project commenced on April 5, 2023, and was completed on February 20, 2025. It involved complex construction techniques spanning multiple disciplines of municipal engineering. Throughout the construction period, no safety or quality incidents occurred, with the project achieving excellent quality standards, meeting all contractual requirements for progress and specifications.
The construction area primarily covered busy urban zones with high pedestrian and vehicular traffic, posing challenges to workflow efficiency. To mitigate disruptions, the project team prioritized centralized construction during off-peak hours, strategically allocating resources to critical tasks. These measures ensured smooth progress and delivered significant social benefits to the community.
