This project is located in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, and is invested by Fujian Zhongsha Petrochemical Co., Ltd. It serves as one of the key units within the 1.5 million tons/year ethylene and downstream deep processing complex. Our company was responsible for all piling works for its polypropylene (PP) unit, providing crucial foundational support for the installation of this world-class chemical facility.
The project employed a foundation scheme combining bored piles and pre-stressed pipe piles. Construction commenced on April 10, 2024, and was completed on May 12, 2025. The scope included 216 bored piles with diameters of 800 millimeters and 1000 millimeters, with lengths ranging from 13 to 28 meters, along with 230 pre-stressed pipe piles (PHC500AB120), totaling 3,881 meters in length. The project successfully overcame technical challenges posed by complex strata such as silt-fine sand and silty clay, ensuring engineering quality. All 446 completed piles achieved a 100% first-time inspection pass rate, with excellent results in static load, low-strain, and horizontal load tests. The project also fully met the overall schedule requirements of the general contractor.
Standardized and meticulous management was implemented throughout the project, with sufficient safety investment and regulated civilized construction practices. These efforts garnered high praise from both the client and the EPC turnkey contractor.
