Located in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, this project is invested by Huacheng Mining Co., Ltd. The Group Company adopted the shaft drilling method and undertook all construction tasks for the four vertical shafts, including drilling, shaft lining fabrication and placement, and backfilling grouting.
The project spanned three years, successfully completing four shafts of various specifications and one deep exploration borehole:
1. North Ventilation Shaft: Finished shaft inner diameter of 4.0 meters, shaft wall thickness of 35 centimeters, shaft depth of 95 meters.
2. South Ventilation Shaft: Finished shaft inner diameter of 4.0 meters, shaft wall thickness of 40 centimeters, shaft depth of 149 meters.
3. Auxiliary Shaft: Finished shaft inner diameter of 6.6 meters, shaft wall thickness of 60 centimeters, shaft depth of 110 meters.
4. Main Shaft: Finished shaft inner diameter of 5.2 meters, shaft wall thickness of 50 centimeters, shaft depth of 112 meters.
5. Main Shaft Exploration Borehole: Core drilling depth reaching 498 meters.
Construction commenced on March 25, 2023, and was completed on December 26, 2025. The project utilized the shaft drilling method, implementing differentiated shaft wall structures and backfilling schemes tailored to the varying diameters, depths, and geological conditions of each shaft. Following a joint acceptance inspection involving the constructor, designer, supervisor, and contractor, all shaft inspection results were qualified, achieving a 100% shaft acceptance rate. The project quality fully satisfied design specifications and code requirements.
