The proposed site is located in Dananhai Industrial Park, Huilai County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, east of Longjiang River and south of the South China Sea, It is about 12 km from Huilai County, about 5 km from the entrance and exit of Longjiang on the Shenzhen-Shantou Expressway, about 5 km from the provincial highway Guangkui Line, about 2 km from the Xijin Line, about 22 km from the railroad connection station Kui Tan Station, and about 60 km from Chaoshan Airport, making the transportation convenient.
The pile foundation project of chemical raw material products tank area in this project is designed as CFG piles with 500 mm pile diameter, 12 m pile length, 1,054 piles in total, and the work quantity is 2,483.43 m ³. The pile foundation project of liquid ammonia tank group uses cast-in-place piles with a diameter of 800 mm, and the base pile is classified as end-bearing pile. The pile length is 36-39m, 88 piles in total, the quantity of work is 1,616 m³.
The pile foundation project of chemical raw material products tank area started on July 07, 2020 and was completed on July 24, 2020. The pile foundation project of liquid ammonia tank group started on 01 January 2021 and was completed on 25 January 2021. According to the test, 18 CFG piles were tested for static load of single pile bearing capacity, 18 piles were tested for static load of review foundation bearing capacity and 117 piles were tested for low strain. The test results show that the bearing capacity meets the design requirements, and the pile integrity of Class I piles accounts for 100%, meeting the contract requirements. 4 bored piles were tested for static load, 3 piles for horizontal bearing capacity, 2 piles for pullout capacity and 48 piles for low strain test, all of which met the design requirements.
