For this project, the turnover is designed to be 5 million tons/year. The project includes five 200,000 m3 LNG storage tanks, two of which are used for natural gas reserve in winter in Shandong Province. The pipeline gaseous output capacity is 4 million tons/year, and the scale of LNG tanker truck loading for external transmission and small LNG transfer is 500,000 tons/year. In the general layout and process design, the space for long-term development is fully considered to meet the receiving scale of more than 10 million tons/year in the long term.
The project started on December 01, 2020 and completed on March 08, 2021. A total of 2 storage tank pile foundation construction was completed, 388 piles for each tank. A total of 776 piles were completed, with a pile length of 75m, a concrete strength grade of C40 and a seepage resistance grade of P8, together with anti-corrosion and anti-rust inhibitors. The construction technology of slurry-supported and the integration of pile body and column is adopted. A total of 8 piles were tested for vertical compressive static load of two storage tanks, 776 piles were tested for low strain, and 78 piles were tested for ultrasonic, all of which met the design requirements.
Although the pile foundation construction was affected by heavy snow, strong cooling and wind, limited production of commercial mixing plant and epidemic, all staff of the project department resolutely implemented the policy of safety first and prevention first in the construction process, and took measures to strengthen safety management according to the characteristics of the project, no safety accident occurred during the implementation of the project, and all construction tasks were completed on schedule with high quality and efficiency.
