This project is an expansion project invested by Askari Cement Ltd, the site is located in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The pile foundation of this project adopted bored pile, the work content included casing placement, slurry preparation, drilling, concrete grouting, etc.
The project started on 08 August 2021 and completed on 05 September 2021, totaling 29 days. A total of 147 piles with a diameter of 1000mm were completed, including 141 piles for the clinker store and 6 piles for the cement fine mill.
During the construction process of this project, the inspection of slurry performance index before drilling, calibration of verticality of the casing, drill alignment, real-time monitoring of slurry in the hole, measurement of slurry at the bottom of the hole before grouting, and measurement of concrete surface during grouting were kept in perfection and strictly controlled to ensure the quality of the project. The pile foundation inspection pass rate was 100%, the single pile bearing capacity met the design requirements, and the quality, safety and progress management were all praised by the owner and the general contractor.
