The project is located in Hutubi County, Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, invested by the Xinjiang Reserve Materials Administration Bureau with special budget funds, and our company undertook the pile foundation construction of this project. The pile diameter of the project was 900mm, 1000mm and 1100mm. The construction content includes surveying and setting out, drilling, rebar cage manufacturing and installation, concrete pouring, slag transportation, etc.
Construction began on 12 October 2017 and was completed on 6 December 2017. A total of 526 concrete piles with a diameter of 900 mm, 465 concrete piles with a diameter of 1,000 mm and 119 concrete piles with a diameter of 1,100 mm were completed. In the construction process, our project department ensured the construction quality by controlling the procurement of raw materials and the admission inspection, strictly implementing the "three-level inspection and one-level acceptance system" in each process, and promoting the continuous progress of safe construction through the implementation of the responsibility for safe construction of all employees. At present, the pile foundation has been tested and all qualified.
During the construction period, our project department carried forward the fine tradition of the company, faced with the difficulties such as more collapsed holes due to geological problems and insufficient depth of the bearing layer, we actively took the initiative to overcome them, and through 55 days of night and day construction, we successfully completed the project task with quality and quantity, which was unanimously approved by government departments, EPC general contractors and supervisors, and established the image of "Iron Army", which laid a solid foundation for future cooperation with China National Petroleum Pipeline Bureau in a wider scope.
