The project is located in Kurna City, Bangladesh. Invested by the Bangladesh Electric Power Development Bureau, our company is responsible for the pile foundation construction of this project, including a total of 1,113 piles with a diameter of 600 mm, and the volume of borehole construction is about 42,610 m; 336 piles with a diameter of 800 mm, and the volume of borehole construction is about 15,240 m, and a total of about 22,000m³ of concrete was poured.
The project started on August 27, 2019, and was completed on May 15, 2020, with a construction period of 262 days. A total of 1,479 piles were completed, with concrete strength grade C35. Although affected by the epidemic situation and raw material supply in the construction of the pile foundation, all the staff of the project department worked together to take countermeasures to ensure the material supply of the project according to the characteristics of the project, thus ensuring the construction period, and at the same time resolutely implementing the safety first and prevention-oriented policy during the construction process, strengthening safety management, and no safety accidents occurred during the construction of the project.
In the whole construction process, the project department attached great importance to environmental protection work, designated a person to be responsible for environmental protection work, and responsible for the management and coordination of the construction surrounding environment and the construction site area, and regularly inspected the environment of the construction area, thus, no environmental pollution accidents occurred. Through the efforts of all the staff of the project department, the construction safety and construction quality were ensured, and the construction task was successfully completed, which was unanimously praised by the owner unit and the supervision unit.
