Located in Dubai, the project is the fourth zone of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. Entrusted by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd, our company undertook the pile foundation construction of this project, using the company's own rotary drilling rig and anchor drilling rig for dry hole bored pile construction, a total of 9,874 were completed, 3,300 piles were tested by integrity test, 36 piles were tested by horizontal lateral load test, and 7 piles were tested by proof load test.
The project started on November 11, 2020 and was completed on November 11, 2021, meeting owner's requirements for the construction period. The project has a tight construction period, a large construction site area (8 square kilometers), shortage of materials and many other characteristics. With scientific organization and close planning, our company actively deployed more than 140 Chinese and foreign personnel and invested more than 30 sets of equipment to ensure the steady progress of the construction schedule and successfully completed all the construction tasks, and won the unanimous praise of the owner and the general contractor with strict safety and quality management, laying a good foundation for the subsequent deepening of cooperation.
The final test results of this project are as follows.
(1) 36 piles were tested by horizontal lateral load test , all of which passed and met the contract and design requirements.
(2) 7 piles were tested by proof load test , all of which were qualified and met the contract and design requirements.
(3) 3,300 piles were tested by integrity test, all of which were qualified and met the contract and design requirements.
