On May 20, 2025, Mr. Li Huawei, Chairman of the Group Company, along with Mr. Hu Jianmin, Chief Economist, visited Huaneng Xiapu Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. for exchange. They held talks with Mr. Wan Ji, Chairman and General Manager of Huaneng Xiapu Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., focusing on future collaboration prospects. The delegation also included Mr. Yu Junchao, Secretary of the Second Company; Mr. Zhang Cong, Deputy Manager; and Mr. Dai Dong, Director of the Office.
Chairman Wan Ji warmly welcomed Chairman Li Huawei and his delegation, providing an update on the progress of the Huaneng Xiapu Nuclear Power Project. He highly commended CHCI’s expertise and capabilities in the geotechnical engineering field and expressed a desire to strengthen communication and deepen cooperation between the two parties.
Chairman Li Huawei thanked Huaneng Xiapu Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. for its trust and support, congratulating the company on securing approval for the first phase of the nuclear power plant. He highlighted the Group Company’s technical strengths and relevant project experience, offering professional recommendations on the foundation treatment solutions for the Huaneng Xiapu Nuclear Power Project. Chairman Li emphasized CHCI’s commitment to leveraging its specialized expertise to enhance collaboration, support the advancement of nuclear power initiatives, and contribute to the success of the Huaneng Xiapu project. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Zhang Guojun, Assistant General Manager and Senior Expert of Huaneng Xiapu Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., along with key leaders from the engineering department.
